Mistake 1 — Pasting from a preview window
If you copy the signature out of a render preview (rather than the source HTML), Gmail strips half the styles. Always use the HTML file we send, not the screenshot.
Mistake 2 — Forgetting "Insert signature before quoted text"
In Gmail Settings → General, scroll down and turn on the "Insert signature before quoted text and remove the `--` line that precedes it" option. Without it, every reply pushes your signature to the bottom of the email chain.
Mistake 3 — Setting up only one alias
Gmail handles one signature per send-from address. If you send from `you@company.com` and `you@company.io`, set both up — otherwise the second one defaults back to plain text.
